The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through proactive maintenance and repairs. This role requires a strong background in various maintenance tasks, including electrical work, Plumbing, Painting,General Maintenance and customer service. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for both staff and visitors. Duties Perform routine maintenance on facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and schedule repairs. Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as an ohmmeter to ensure equipment is functioning properly. Execute residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facilities. Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations. Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and support as needed. Weld metal components as required for repairs or modifications. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques. Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus. Experience in leadership roles or team management is advantageous. Ability to read schematics and perform troubleshooting effectively. Proficiency in welding techniques is desirable but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
