The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in various mechanical and electrical systems. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment for all. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct residential painting tasks as needed to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facilities. Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion of projects. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns and resolving maintenance issues promptly. Use tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various systems. Familiarity with electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques. Experience in supervising staff is a plus, along with strong leadership skills. Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English required. A customer-oriented approach to service delivery is essential. Knowledge of residential painting techniques is beneficial.
