Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Job Description:

New opening for a Property Maintenance Worker with a locally based organization. Excellent daytime schedule – overtime pay available. Full-Time/Days; 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Thursday and some weekends as needed. $16.50/hr. The Property Maintenance Worker will perform routine building maintenance and repairs, including painting, light carpentry, fixture replacements, lawn care, snow removal, and trash removal. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities:

Clean and restore unused building units.
Preform light carpentry, such as patching drywall and repairing finished structures.
Fix minor electrical and plumbing issues.
Repair and/or replace fixtures and appliances.
Clean, resurface, and paint indoor and outdoor surfaces.
Replace damaged carpets and flooring.
Remove trash and place in appropriate disposal areas.
Provide lawn care and snow removal services.
Perform other duties as required by site supervisor.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent education.
Prior professional experience related to building and/or grounds maintenance.
Valid Maine driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Background check required.

Schedule:

 Full-time/Days; 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Mon-Thursday & some weekends as needed.

Pay:
