Hotel Maintenance Worker Best Western Plus Bolivar 777 East San Martin Street, Bolivar, MO 65613 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role involves a variety of tasks, including overseeing maintenance operations, performing repairs, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in creating a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. Responsibilities Supervise maintenance activities to ensure efficient operations and compliance with safety standards. Perform residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs. Maintain facilities by conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment. Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. Provide excellent customer service by responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Collaborate with team members to ensure all maintenance projects are completed effectively. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the ability to use an ohmmeter. Proficiency in residential painting techniques. Ability to read and understand schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Experience with welding is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. Strong customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with clients and staff. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication.
