The Maintenance Technician will perform routine repairs, upkeep, and custodial tasks while supporting the school’s mission to provide a welcoming, faith-centered environment. Job Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting. Conduct regular inspections of the school’s physical plant and grounds to identify safety hazards or repair needs. Maintain clean and orderly classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas as needed. Manage snow removal, landscaping, and grounds upkeep to ensure safe access. Set up and break down furniture and equipment for school events and activities. Monitor and maintain inventories of maintenance supplies and equipment. Coordinate and oversee outside contractors and service providers as directed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Ensure compliance with diocesan safety regulations and school policies. Support the school community by maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor in keeping with Catholic values. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in general maintenance, custodial work, or related field preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools. Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Valid driver’s license.
