Essential Functions of Maintenance Assistant :
Assist in the care of the facilities physical plant and grounds Perform repairs as directed Collect and dispose of refuse Clean, strip, wax, and buff floors Assure prompt snow and ice removal Help to assure the maintenance of the physical plant is in proper order
Qualifications of Maintenance Assistant :
Requires knowledge of building maintenance to include minor electrical repair Pluming and routine preventative care of heating and air conditioning systems Requires the ability to receive verbal and written direction Requires the ability to be available for “on-call” emergency repairs Must have valid Driver’s License Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
