Maintenance Assistant Ellisville Rehabilitation and Nursing 322 Old State Road, Ballwin, MO 63021 Ellisville Rehabilitation and Nursing is now hiring a Full-time Maintenance Assistant for the day shift!
Shift available:
7am-3:30pm, every other weekend required The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for performing routine repairs and upkeep of the facility’s infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units. They ensure that all equipment and building systems are functioning properly to provide a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities:
Assist with general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the facility’s interior and exterior. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents. Ensure that safety standards and regulations are followed. Help maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools. Support environmental services with seasonal groundskeeping (e.g., snow removal, lawn care). Report any hazards or equipment issues to the Maintenance Director or Administrator.
Qualifications:
1 year of maintenance or handyman experience required (healthcare setting a plus). Basic knowledge of general maintenance procedures and safety practices. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
