Our club features a beautiful clubhouse, exquisite dining facilities, and a family-oriented atmosphere with various programs and activities. Summary We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team at Jackson Yacht Club. This position is vital to ensuring our facilities remain in excellent condition for our members and guests. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining our high standards of service and quality. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on club facilities and equipment. Conduct inspections to identify issues requiring attention. Assist in the upkeep of the clubhouse, grounds, and recreational areas. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Collaborate with other staff to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for members and guests. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or members. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Basic customer service skills to interact positively with members and staff. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 75% of the job duties take place outdoors so the candidate must have a tolerance for heat and cold. The candidate must be able to read and write, communicate verbally, lift 50 pounds and work around water. Typically, this job is day shift including weekends with occasional evenings.
