The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance, with expertise in electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret schematics. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The Maintenance Person will also play a key role in supervising maintenance activities and providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on various equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, mechanical components, and logic controllers. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory. Interpret schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions. Supervise maintenance staff, providing leadership and guidance during projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong emphasis on electrical systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various types of equipment. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Leadership experience or supervisory skills are highly desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to addressing challenges.
