Roadside Assistant Dependable Towing and Recovery Supply, NC 28462 Job Summary As a AAA Roadside Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our members in their time of need. This position involves responding to roadside assistance calls, performing vehicle maintenance tasks, and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will be essential in helping stranded motorists get back on the road quickly and safely. Responsibilities Respond promptly to roadside assistance requests, including jump-starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, and lockout services. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to perform vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as needed. Conduct basic diagnostics using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to assess vehicle issues. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with members and ensuring their needs are met during stressful situations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the service vehicle and at job sites. Document all services performed and maintain accurate records of roadside assistance calls. Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance preferred. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with roadside assistance duties.
