APARTMENT MAINTENANCE
Full-Time for apartment community located in Charlotte, NC. Responsible for day-to-day property cleaning, common area maintenance and completing maintenance tasks in apartments. Act as primary contact for vendors/contractors working on-site. After-hours emergency calls are shared with Maintenance Helper on a rotating schedule. Candidate must have basic knowledge of maintenance and proficiency with tools. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and seek solutions is a must. Maturity, consistency, high standards for organization and efficiency, and delivery of exceptional customer service are required. Must have reliable transportation and tools. Valid driver license and reliable transportation required. Candidate must successfully pass credit, criminal and pre-employment drug screening. Equal Opportunity Employer. Responsibilities and Duties (including, but not limited to):
- light plumbing
- troubleshoot various maintenance issues
- coordinate and work with contractors/vendors as needed
- pick up trash on the grounds
- cleaning the common areas
- complete work orders in a timely fashion
- maintain neat and organized maintenance records. Submit paperwork in a timely manner
- maintain an organized and sufficiently stocked maintenance area
- maintain secure key control of all areas
- turn vacant apartments (unit make ready process)
- provide excellent customer service
- communicate effectively and respectfully with co-workers, residents and vendors
- respond to after-hours emergencies in a timely manner
