Facilities and Maintenance Technician Location:

Charlotte, NC Shift:

Monday to Friday Pay rate: $28 to 31/hr Position Overview We are looking for a skilled and dependable Facilities and Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and in optimal working condition. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production and facility equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Maintain building systems including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and infrastructure. Assist in equipment installations, relocations, and upgrades. Follow maintenance procedures and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies. Document maintenance work using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Monitor supply levels and notify supervisors when parts or materials are needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in industrial maintenance is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Technical Skills:

Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Tools/Systems:

Experience with hand and power tools, CMMS systems, and standard safety protocols.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

$28.00 – $31.00 per hour

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Night shift
