General Maintenance Worker Coastal Fitness Center 98 Quarter Horse Lane, Hampstead, NC 28443 Maintenance Job Description Summary It includes maintenance, cleaning and repair of the equipment, facility, property, and grounds of Coastal Fitness Center. General Accountabilities Outdoor Maintenance

• Maintenance of the grounds weekly to include: ⚬ Mowing of all grass areas ⚬ Weeding⚬ Blowing of all concrete areas⚬ Clean and organize outside storage and trash can areas⚬ Trash pick up⚬ Access to a truck to do larger dump runs, once weekly if needed ⚬ Maintain the area around Coastal Fitness mailbox
• Maintenance of the riding lawn mower and weedwacker to include: ⚬ Replace blades and belts as needed ⚬ Wash and store after every use⚬ Replace oil and air filters once yearly at the end or beginning of season⚬ Winterize at the end of the season Indoor Maintenance
• Maintenance of weight machines daily to include:⚬ Wiping down, oiling and tightening of all slide bars ⚬ Check all cables on cable towers ⚬ Repairing any reported issues
• Ellipticals and treadmills need to be wiped down and oiled weekly
• Stairmasters need to be opened up and wiped down and oil monthly
• Walk the pool deck, picking up any trash and bleach and scrub any mold
• Check the spin room binder daily for any needed repairs
• Organize and clean indoor storage room
• Make service calls to the appropriate companies if you are unable to make repairs
• Research and email links for parts, equipment, etc. needed for repairs.
• Represents and promotes Coastal Fitness Center including wearing a shirt with the Coastal Fitness Logo on the front and Staff on the back during each shift
