Responsibilities Assists staff in all duties related to the day-to-day operations of Village-owned properties and facilities including parks. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of village-owned properties, facilities, greenways, park grounds and facility structures. Perform repairs and make improvements of village-owned properties, facilities, greenways, park grounds and facility structures. Installing fencing Help with planning, organizing and preparing for small events or daytime programs held at the park. Operate assigned equipment and tools. Complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently. Skills Some knowledge of standard practices, materials, tools, and equipment utilized in the area of assigned work. Some knowledge of equipment maintenance and skill in the operation of various equipment. Ability to operate a large pick-up vehicle with an attached trailer. Ability to operate light tools and equipment. Ability to use hand tools for gardening. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and supervisor.
