Maintenance Helper/Assistant :

Clean assigned areas by sweeping, raking, and picking up broken glass and loose debris or moving barrels, cans, and bins. Keeping the workplace tidy, organized and free from hazards. Assisting with routine maintenance. This may include cleaning fixtures, bearings, pits, baler etc, sweeping floors and emptying trash bins. Sort and segregate recycled waste items (e.g., aluminum, plastic, paper, etc.) from incoming material as and when required. Deposit recoverable items safely and efficiently into appropriate chutes. Assist other employees on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Inspect incoming loads for material that isnt recyclable; remove unacceptable items as required. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements of the

Steel-toed shoes or boots are required. Ability to lift 25-65 lbs safely. Able to stand for long periods without a break. Willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
