General Maintenance Assistant Position Available In Burlington, New Jersey

General Maintenance Assistant Cream-O-Land Dairy United States, Jersey, Florence 529 Cedar Lane (Show on map) Jun 20, 2025 We have a great opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Worker to join our team and assist in a broad range of maintenance responsibilities including building/minor construction, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, etc.

Required Schedule:

Monday-Saturday, Sundays as needed. Ability to work holidays/weekends, and overtime as required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assistance in maintenance of all refrigeration equipment in proper operating conditions
• Detect, locate and repair all malfunctions
• Responsible for replacing and repairing electrical items, light fixtures and outlet switches
• Replacing heating and cooling filters
• Interior and exterior painting
• Performs minor and major repairs of all buildings and equipment.
• Repairs/replacing any broken windows, doors, door locks, and ceiling tiles
• Installs electrical wiring and equipment, new electrical services
• During inclement weather maintain interior/ exterior of the facility
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

Must possess a valid driver license with acceptable record
Minimum of 2 years prior general maintenance experience required
Prior experience working in an industrial/plant setting
Must possess high levels of mechanical skills
Experienced at troubleshooting and offering recommendations/options
Must have familiarity in general maintenance to include:
Plumbing
Electrical
Refrigeration
Snow removal
