Summary We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team at LCB Senior Living. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents by maintaining the facilities and performing various maintenance tasks. Your contributions will directly enhance the quality of life for our seniors. Responsibilities Assist with the general maintenance of the facility to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for residents. Perform routine inspections and repairs on building systems and equipment. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS software. Support the implementation of preventative maintenance programs. Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently. Requirements Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Experience with mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals is preferred. Basic proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter is a plus. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is beneficial but not required.
