Groundskeeper/Maintenance Worker Colton Court Motor Inn 105 Beach Avenue, Cape May, NJ 08204 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the overall appearance and functionality of our grounds and facilities. This role requires a hands-on approach to landscape maintenance, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and meet our standards for quality and safety. Duties Pool Maintenance; clean and vacuum pool, test and adjust water chemistry. Perform regular lawn care tasks, including mowing and trimming. Conduct landscape maintenance activities, such as planting, weeding, and mulching to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the grounds. Maintain gardens by ensuring proper care of plants, flowers, and shrubs. Assist in groundskeeping duties to keep outdoor areas clean and safe for visitors and staff. Qualifications Experience in pool care and maintenance a MUST. Experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions. Good physical stamina, capable of lifting and moving equipment as necessary.
