Superintendent – On-site 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars Ocean, NJ 07712 Continental Gardens, a 600 unit garden apartment community in Ocean Twp, Monmouth County, NJ is seeking a Full-Time, Live-in Superintendent. We are looking for a conscientious, self-starting team player with good communication skills and experience in apartment/building maintenance, repair, and renovation. If you have a positive attitude and the ability to identify and resolve a variety of maintenance issues in both individual units and the community at large, we would like you to join our crew. The successful candidate should have at least 2 year’s experience and have the following skills/ knowledge of: Light electrical work Plumbing Appliance repair Carpentry work Tile work Painting Ability to trouble shoot Responsibilities include: Reporting to Head Super Fielding service requests Interacting with tenants Resolving a variety of maintenance issues Snow shoveling, removal in winter Rotating On-call Duty Must have: High school diploma or equivalent Valid Driver’s License Ability to communicate both written and verbally in English, second language a plus Organizational and time management skills Benefits include: Salary- $18/hour to start Discounted apartment rental Paid sick and vacation time off Health benefits (after 3 months) 401K with employer match (after 6 months)
