Pumpkin Hollow Retreat Center seeks a Maintenance & Grounds Assistant to help nurture our beautiful environment. Join us in creating a welcoming space that supports spiritual growth and connection!
What You’ll Do:
As part of our team, you will assist the Maintenance Manager with various projects, ensuring that our trails, grounds, cabins, and other buildings remain pristine.
Your days will include:
Nature Care:
Engage with the land as you maintain trails, push mow, weed-whack, rake leaves, trim bushes, and more—all while connecting with the beauty around you.
Program Support:
Collaborate with staff and volunteers to create welcoming spaces for our programs and assist with meal clean-up after programs.
Woodland Duties:
Help split and stack firewood, fostering a warm, inviting atmosphere for our guests.
Keeping Things Running Smoothly:
Occasional light maintenance and assistance.
What You Bring:
A bit of experience with gas-powered lawn equipment such as mowers, blowers, weed whackers etc., and a love for outdoor work. A community-oriented spirit and an appreciation for a serene, nature-infused lifestyle.
What We Offer:
As part of our vibrant community, you will receive: A taxable stipend of $1,000 per month to support your journey. Seasonal cabin accommodations with a private bath, access to a shared kitchen, room, board, utilities, internet access, and laundry facilities.
