Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the site superintendent, candidates willmunicate production requirements and maintenance needs. This role involves performing a variety of laboring duties within an Aggregate Plant, including assisting in plant maintenance andpiling reports on production and maintenance. It is a seasonal position with potential overtime during peak periods and the possibility of night work.

Responsibilities:

Execute a wide range of laboring duties within an Aggregate Plant.
Assist in plant maintenance andpile reports on plant production and maintenance.
Operate in a safe and professional manner.
Report any accidents or incidents promptly to the supervisor.
Conduct daily post-inspections andplete Risk assessment forms.
Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently.
Cover vacations in different tasks when required.
Be open to potential night work.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience in basic mechanical maintenance.
Demonstrated good performance, safety, and attendance.
Willingness to work andmunicate effectively with supervisors, truck drivers, and fellow employees.
Ability to maintainpliance with MSHA, OSHA, and all otherpany policies or government state rules and regulations.
Safe and professional operation of equipment.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required, despite the daytime shift nature.
Valid driver’s license.
Pre employment screenings are required before being employed by Callanan Industries, Inc.

Education/Experience:

Training will be provided as needed.
High school graduate or equivalent.

Salary and Benefits:

This position offers a Union rate of $24.60 per hour.
