Maintenance Meadow Court Inn Ithaca, NY 14850 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of hotel property. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, facilities maintenance, and customer service skills to address any issues that may arise promptly. Duties Work with Maintenance Manager to create daily task sheet. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems. Utilize Maintenance log to track work orders, schedule maintenance tasks, and maintain accurate records. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Respond to maintenance requests from staff and customers in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service. Maintain property grounds. Complete maintenance projects as needed, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols. Assist with construction tasks as required for repairs or modifications. Experience Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in electrical and boiler systems, including troubleshooting and repair. Familiarity with bioler systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to work independently is required.
