Job Description

Maintenance Worker II for Belmont Complex – Full-time 1.3 1.3 out of 5 stars Kittanning, PA 16201 This position pay rate is $10.73 per hour and is 40 hours per week. Hours may vary.

MUST WORK NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS.
Overall Responsibilities :

To perform specialized maintenance duties within and around the department. Duties include but are not limited to: Provides general building maintenance duties as required. Cleans and maintains pool, pool filter and complex. Checks and records information on maintenance logs, reading of gauges and other equipment for proper operation, and makes minor adjustments, if trained and certified, and informs Supervisor of any questionable readings. Maintains and resurfaces the ice surface. Shovels snow from wet ice rink surface. Operates and maintains ice resurfacers, ice edger and other equipment as needed under the direction of the Supervisor. Makes repairs to damaged equipment. Operates power equipment and hand tools. Paints required fixtures, buildings and other objects as directed. Transports materials to/from proper departments. Cuts and trims grass, shovels or plows snow as needed. Collects trash and recyclables. Cleans restrooms and locker rooms. Occasional lifting/carrying of object weighing up to 60 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications :
EDUCATION/TRAINING

High school diploma or equivalent, plus trade school training in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting preferred. Must have a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Records Check.

WORK EXPERIENCE 2

years working experience in maintenance or custodial environment.
