The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our outdoor spaces. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and the use of both hand and power tools. A passion for gardening and an eye for detail are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various groundskeeping tasks. Irrigate landscapes effectively to promote healthy plant growth while conserving water. Clear debris from walkways, parking lots, and other areas to maintain a clean environment. Assist in the installation of new landscaping features as needed. Monitor plant health and identify any issues such as pests or diseases, taking appropriate action to resolve them. Collaborate with team members to ensure all groundskeeping tasks are completed efficiently. Requirements Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping tasks. Knowledge of lawn care techniques and irrigation systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing physical labor. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A valid driver’s license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
