Janitor/Maintenance Worker Otter Lake Camp Resort 1639 Marshalls Creek Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, and facilities maintenance, with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in residential and commercial settings. Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming. Conduct custodial duties including dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed to ensure compliance with safety standards. Carry out basic maintenance tasks including minor repairs and painting as required. Monitor supply levels of cleaning materials and report when replenishment is needed. Ensure all areas are well-organized and presentable for staff and visitors. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management. Qualifications Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles; industrial cleaning experience is a plus. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and polishing. Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
