Job Description:
Primary Function:
Perform duties necessary for the care of the buildings, building equipment, and grounds in his/her charge. High standards in regard to safety, cleanliness, and orderliness must be maintained.

Supervisor of Campus Operations Qualifications:
Good health as demonstrated by a good attendance record at work or in school work effectively as a member of a crew-performing maintenance work requiring team effort Ability to deal harmoniously and effectively with other maintenance personnel, custodians, school staff, parents, and students Possess sufficient communication skills to perform basic tasks without supervision Ability to use hand and basic power tools and operate power and snow removal equipment Ability to work alone on specific assignments Must be able to initiate and plan activities
Responsibilities:
Maintain central heating systems, hot water boilers, pumps, central water supply system, air conditioning equipment Maintain plumbing systems, sewer lines, water lines, gas lines, oil lines, steam lines, and troubleshoot problem areas in system Maintain electrical lighting, switches, motors, wiring, and other electrical and electronic equipment within the school district Work with all types of metals, burn or weld as directed or instructed Perform other types of work as snow removal, and assist in preparation for school events Change light bulbs in areas that require the use of special ladders, i.e., gyms, auditoriums, multi-purpose rooms, on outside of buildings, etc. Maintain and repair maintenance equipment as necessary Operate truck, tractors, and attached equipment related to above duties Construct and repair walls, shelves, floors, roofs, tables, chairs, and desks using all related carpentry tools and skills Reports needed repairs of malfunctioning equipment to supervision Order parts when needed, providing proper information to obtain such parts to complete his/her job properly, with the permission of the Supervisor of Campus Operations Work with other personnel in order to complete job safely and efficiently Keep work area clean and safe during the job and on completion of the job Assume responsibility for the general security of maintenance equipment Move school and cafeteria equipment, materials, and furniture as needed Ability to perform in all classifications as directed Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Campus Operations May have to lift more than 50 pounds.
