Monday through Thursday, 10:00pm-8:30am The Heritage at Lowman Retirement Community is a faith-basednon-profit organization looking for compassionate, caring professionals whodedicate themselves to providing quality care and promoting the highest incustomer service. Located in the Midlands of South Carolina near the shores ofbeautiful Lake Murray, the Heritage at Lowman is a growing, robust community ofactive senior adults. We are currently seeking a FirstResponder/Maintenance Assistant (Weekends). The FirstResponder/Maintenance Assistant is responsible for providing Security andMaintenance support during the evening and early morning hours to includeweekends. The Security functions include, but not limited to, locking vacatedbuildings, patrolling entire campus grounds, scheduled walkthroughs of variousoccupied buildings, escorting emergency vehicles that arrive on campus todesignated building(s) or area, escorting or transporting Nursing Staff toemergency locations. The Maintenance functions include providing generalmaintenance duties in all areas to obtain a safe and functional building,outside area, equipment and systems. Performs general repairs as required ordirected. Responsible for equipment and furniture moves. Assist MaintenanceMechanic with repairs and at times installation of equipment or renovations.
Qualifications:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Two or more years in Security related field preferred and must possess skills to perform basic electrical work, carpentry and plumbing. Must have a valid South Carolina driver’s license Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment in excess of 50 pounds.
