What We Offer:
An onsite studio apartment that includes electricity, water, trash, TV with surround sound, mini-kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower (suitable for a max of 2 adults). You will also be able to use the hospitality washer and dryer for your personal items. Plot of land to build your own home (with heavy equipment to clear it, provided at no charge except fuel usage cost). $13-15 per hour Depending on Skill Level (30- 40 hours per week). Flexible schedule (with some restrictions). On-the-job training (heavy equipment, maintenance, cleaning, etc.). 1099
Employee Job Requirements:
Construction and mechanical experience (training provided for some skills). Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders. On-call availability for guests’ needs Maintain a valid driver’s license (preferably with tow-hauling experience). Basic computer and communication skills (texting required). Excellent communication skills with customers and owners Attention to detail, self-motivated, and task oriented. Ability to manage high-priority tasks Respond calmly and professionally, even in high-pressure situations. Willingness to work with short-term rentals, lawn care, construction projects, and more.
Your Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare short-term rental properties for new guests (7 days a week, as needed). Operate heavy equipment and assist with the construction of a treehouse. Perform lawn care, firewood chopping, and maintenance tasks. Handle on-site guest service needs as needed and keep the property well-maintained. Provide daily time sheets, weekly activity reports, and updates on projects
What We Do:
Own and manage three short-term (fourth underway) rental properties with plans to add more. Operate a heavy equipment rental business (excavators, tractors). Run a shipping and receiving warehouse for Amazon products.

More Specifics:
You have the flexibility to work your own schedule if you can meet a minimum of 30 hours per week, and the units are cleaned and prepped for the next guest between the hours of 11AM and 3PM. The equipment deliveries must also take priority. We will provide you with all the needed equipment, cleaning supplies, Maintenance items and tools required to complete each task properly. We do not band-aid anything and have a ticketing system in place for all Maintenance tasks. You will be required to be on call if any guests require assistance with anything (usually simple things). You will be required to notify us each time you begin work and finish work for the day via text message with your time in and out, including small after-hours tasks and lunch breaks. We will alert you with any updates to the upcoming reservations as soon as we receive them. You will be required to provide us with a weekly report of all activities. Our heavy equipment will occasionally need to be serviced with oil changes, cleaning and greasing. Our Short-Term Rentals will need to be professionally cleaned after each guest and ready for the next guest on the day they checkout and this can happen 7 days a week depending on how many reservations we have. The lawn care will need to be kept pristine, and firewood chopped and ready for each guest to use. We have a zero-turn lawnmower which occasionally needs the blades sharpened. When you are not cleaning (including doing laundry, inventory of cleaning supplies and other preparations), or prepping for guests, or delivering equipment, you will be doing construction work on our treehouse. We will occasionally need you to operate our excavators for certain jobs (willing to train if not experienced). As you can see, you will wear many hats, and need to be organized, and prioritize activities so that all business operations run smoothly. We understand that you may at times feel frustrated or overwhelmed with the many moving pieces, but we expect you to be well mannered, calm headed, and have a good attitude, solving problems and moving forward. This job is a great opportunity for anyone who has the right skillset and is willing to move to Virginia and build a life here. You will be given a place to stay (A private studio apartment with Electricity, Wi-fi, Shower, toilet, TV with most streaming channels, built on the back of our warehouse). Not big enough to legally have a family with children but may be suitable for a couple while you build your house on the land we are providing. You will be given a plot of land at the front of our property that will need to be cleared and prepped for use, using our heavy equipment (free of charge except for fuel cost). The land will be deeded over after you have been working with us for 3 years, however you can start working on it immediately after being hired. Your construction on the plot of land is completely your expense (you can use our tools, and equipment for free). It must meet all local codes and be properly permitted and pass COO approval by the local Zoning board prior to occupying. You will be paid weekly for your hours. We pay on Mondays.
