The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. This role is essential for ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities through various maintenance tasks, including electrical work, welding, and fabrication. The Maintenance Person will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service while addressing maintenance needs. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise. Fabricate and weld components as needed to maintain equipment functionality. Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations. Conduct residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards of the property. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas. Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with residents or staff regarding maintenance requests. Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced team members in maintenance tasks. Experience Proven experience in mechanical knowledge, facilities maintenance, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing repairs, and welding techniques is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and problem-solving. Experience in residential painting is a plus. Leadership experience in a maintenance or facilities role is beneficial but not required.
