Job Description
Maintenance Assistant 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars 98 Hospitality Drive, Barre, VT 05641 Berlin Health and Rehab is Under New Management!!! The main duties and responsibilities of a Maintenance Assistant include: Assist in the inspection of buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions Troubleshoot and repair issues with HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, etc Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, including moving and arranging furniture Conduct minor building, HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs Assist with the daily cleaning of the facilities, including sweeping, mopping and trash removal Help with landscape maintenance, including mowing grass, trimming hedges and shoveling snow Follow all health and safety regulations and practices on every job Maintain inventory of repair supplies and materials Communicate with supervisors about unsafe conditions, damaged equipment or supplies needed
