Responsibilities :
This position will identify and correct any and all problems involving the community and to implement procedures that will prevent such problems. Diagnoses and performs minor and routine maintenance/repair, as directed, involving the following on a daily basis:
- Electrical and plumbing (including water lines).
- General Carpentry
- A/C and heating systems, appliances (when applicable).
- Water irrigation systems.
- Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings.
- Tile, carpet, flooring.
- Roofing, gutters, fasteners.
- Fireplaces, ceiling fans, Interior/exterior lights.
- Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors
- Boiler, gas and electric, gas fixtures and appliances (where applicable)
- Door locks, P.O. boxes and locks, security systems (where applicable)
- Ceiling leaks, foundations/sidewalks/concrete, walls
- General pool maintenance- pool areas, tile, Jacuzzi, pool furniture
Requirements :
- Position requires at least 5-years’ experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent field.
- Certification from trade school
- HVAC certification is required.
Education:
- High school or equivalent level.
