• About the Role
• Essity Professional Hygiene is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner for our tissue manufacturing operation in Cherokee, AL.We’re looking for people who embody our values, aren’t afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. • What You Will Do
• Provides safety and housekeeping leadership
• Plans and schedules mechanical, electrical, and Instrument maintenance work
• manages the work order process
• Collaborates with the operation’s team to develop weekly, daily and outage schedules
• Actively participates in daily, weekly, and shutdown process and scheduling
• Collaborates with manufacturing leads, engineers, department heads, maintenance leads
• a ctively supports preventive maintenance and essential care/condition monitoring (PM/ECCM) concepts, policies and procedures
• Prepares work packages for all maintenance jobs
• Works with sourcing to solicit and analyze bids and issuing purchase orders for contracted work.## ##
• Who You Are
• Engineering degree preferred
• Five or more years of maintenance experience
• Experience with CMMS systems and scheduling software
• Experience with process equipment and systems (Paper mill preferred)
• Communicate effectively through written, oral, and digital formats
• Collaborate with all levels of an organization.##
