Maintenance and Facilities Manager

DESCRIPTION

Manages the maintenance department consisting of contracted maintenance supervisors and skilled trades workers, tools and construction
Manages the facility needs for installation of equipment with new product launches and line upgrades as well as decommissioning and disposition of obsolescent equipment.
Ensures facilities are maintained in accordance with all applicable OSHA, NFPA, and other regulatory agencies.
Tracks all key performance indicators such as PM compliance and efficacy, Operations Availability, etc.
Creates Annual Department Budget and ensures projects meet or exceed
Responsible for oversight of Maintenance Purchasing and Maintenance Crib inventory management
Provides leadership, support, and feedback to supervisors and skilled trades workers with respect to goals and performance.
Implements continuous improvements and cost savings opportunities (i.e. safety, cost, manpower) utilizing lean principles
Establish a common lean organization, and support all Inteva policies, and initiatives.
Ensure compliance to all Quality, and Environmental policies, and procedures
Institutionalize best practices, and share lessons learned
Controls Attendance, Cost and inventories

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 7 years of Maintenance Experience in a manufacturing environment. Automotive experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate employees
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
• High level of analytical ability where problems are complex
• High level of oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
• Ability to interpret blueprints / engineering drawings
• Application knowledge of quality control procedures
