Position Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the physical maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained community. This role involves both hands-on maintenance and leadership duties, including supervision of maintenance team members and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain all buildings, grounds, and amenities Prioritize and complete service requests efficiently and professionally Oversee apartment make-readies and preventative maintenance schedules Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls Lead and train maintenance team members, ensuring high performance and quality service Maintain inventory levels and manage maintenance budget Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a multifamily housing environment Strong HVAC knowledge and current EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) Proficient in all areas of apartment maintenance: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry Must have own basic tools and reliable transportation Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong communication and leadership skills Ready to Make a Move?
