Job description UCN is seeking to fill Area Quality Supervisor out of Auburn, Al. Overall, Purpose is to ensure Quality services are at standards and support for all projects assigned to their facilities(s) within a 2-hour radius. This person will be responsible for all locations, all shifts, and responsible for managing all day-to-day activities and client needs as needed up to 7 days a week. Provide leadership and guidance to personnel in facilities. Support and maintain a positive and productive atmosphere at facilities Ensure all company and customer guidelines are being upheld Qualifications Proficiency in English Computer skills Microsoft Office (basic Microsoft Excel proficiency) and Outlook Proficient in the use of various gauges and measuring devices Ability to lift / move 50 lbs. Open-minded Resilient to pressure Customer focus Reliable & trustworthy Flexible Initiative High School Diploma or Equivalent Valid Driver’s Licenses Responsibilities Overall, Purpose of an Area Quality Supervisor Ensure Quality services and support for all projects assigned to their facilities(s) Provide leadership and guidance to personnel fulfilling facilities Support and maintain a positive and productive atmosphere at facilities Ensure all company and customer guidelines are being upheld Client relationship & Business development within facilities assigned Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and facilities personnel Daily communications with various stakeholders at the facilities level Set up and supervise facilities Staffing of facilities Training and validate inspectors Coordinate changes in facilities Conduct ongoing audits of effectiveness of work being performed Make independent judgments for subjective scenarios Work as an inspector when required Demonstrates commitment to reduce the risk of workplace accidents Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies Partner with Human Resources for performance and attendance issue resolution Ensure all inspector time is entered, monitored and approved Create and maintain a 5S working environment Update daily system entries in company and customer portals Create and maintain customer and company reports Utilize company web portals to record required audits and documentation Troubleshoot and problem solve with the supplier and customer for issues pertaining to process flow, new criteria, spikes/spills Create electronic work instructions and have the ability to navigate company and customer web facilities and portals Any other duties as assigned

Operations:

Set up and supervise facilities Staffing of facilities Training and validate inspectors Coordinate changes in facilities Isolate, tag and verify nonconforming material Conduct ongoing audits of effectiveness of work being performed Perform visual, mechanical, and functional verifications to ensure compliance to quality standards and specifications Make independent judgments for subjective scenarios. Work as an inspector when required Demonstrates commitment to reduce the risk of workplace accidents Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies Organization & Management Ensures all facilities personnel receive corporate communications Partner with Human Resources for performance and attendance issue resolution Act as a liaison between Facilities Manager and inspectors Ensure all inspector time is entered, monitored and approved Create and maintain a 5S working environment

Technical:

Update daily system entries in company and customer portals Create and maintain customer and company reports Utilize company web portals to record required audits and documentation Troubleshoot and problem solve with the supplier and customer for issues pertaining to process flow, new criteria, spikes/spills Create electronic work instructions and have the ability to navigate company and customer web facilities and portals Work experience 1+ years of work experience in a support/lead role preferred 1+ year in Quality related position preferred Education background High School Diploma or Equivalent The unrivaled expertise, industrial mindset and extensive global footprint that UCN has built up over the last 3 decades has made UCN the leading quality solutions provider using the latest innovative and reliable digital systems and standard processes, delivering results in the most demanding industries.
