Weekly Schedule:

7:00 AM to 7:00 PM – Friday, Saturday,Sunday, Monday.

Weekly plant shutdown begins Fridays at 6:00 AM andends Mondays at 6:00 AM.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance ShiftSupervisor will maintain production equipment, building andgrounds, purchase related materials and services. Make ongoingrecommendations for optimal maintenance of equipment, productionand plant layout. Perform functions to supervise preventativemaintenance and related maintenance, ensuring quality andefficiency and coordinates workflow with outside vendors,engineering, and maintenance projects.

Typical Day:

Maintain flow of materials and components ensuring parts areavailable for production equipment through adequate inventory. Investigate problems with the production equipment andrecommend corrective action. Maintain production equipment, building and grounds, purchaserelated materials, and services. Recommend new equipment or processes to improve productionefficiency. Ensure all employees are trained on equipment and safetyprocedures. Make recommendations for improved plant layout and facilitatemovement of equipment. Prepare reports for management as required. Keep current on changes and developments in relatedfields. Exercise considerable judgment to maintain, repair and modifyproduction equipment, guided by precedent and within the limits ofestablished policies. Maintain confidential data such as employee records which, ifdisclosed, might have an adverse internal effect. Use personal computer, common office equipment, hand tools,precision measuring equipment and fabrication equipment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management Systemprocedures and requirements. Ability to meet the essential job requirements, with or withoutreasonable accommodation, as outlined in the job description.

WhatYou Will Need:

Associate’s Degree in STEM discipline or equivalent years ofexperience Three plus years’ electromechanical experience in amanufacturing environment. Previous supervisory or leadership experience of a maintenanceteam. Thorough knowledge of a specialized or technical field, such asmaintenance technology. Solid blueprint & schematic reading skills. Understanding of machine repair/rebuild, hydraulic, welding,fabricating & pipe fitting skills. Proven communication and interpersonal skills with the abilityto communicate and interact effectively with all levels of theorganization both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated skills in leading and participating in crossfunctional teams. Strong analytical skills to gather data from multiple sourcesand report findings. Ability to take initiative and work independently.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products:

including Word andExcel.

Nice to

Have:

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline Foundry or metals industry experience CMMS or ERP system experience on work order and inventorymanagement. CMRP Certification. Experience supervising a maintenance department and overseeingdepartmental costs. Formal team and leadership training with demonstratedsuccess. Knowledge or maintaining part inventory and work orders. Proficiency with advanced features of Microsoft Officeproducts.
