The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management, project management, and maintenance best practices. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and functional environment while overseeing all maintenance activities, including HVAC systems. Responsibilities 1. This position reports to Director – Operations, MFH 2. Supports management in the execution of asset level maintenance programs and strategies 3. Communicates effectively with on-site and senior management teams, inspectors, contractors, and vendors 4. Coordinates all parties involved in the execution of maintenance programs, including but not limited to preventative maintenance, make ready and home repairs and install 5. Develops vendor relationships in local markets to ensure optimal execution of maintenance strategy plans both in timing and pricing Specific Tasks 1. Operations a. With management, develop, communicate, and monitor maintenance standards of performance to include set up of maintenance shops and preventive maintenance programs b. With management develop, source, and lead asset level maintenance training and onboarding programs c. With management develop, implement, and monitor national and local purchasing programs to ensure Hamilton Point Investments is receiving the best available pricing with a focus in MFH providers d. Provides monthly and quarterly progress reporting (to be determined) to management e. With management, interview, test and make appropriate recommendations as part of the hiring process for any maintenance associate f. As needed, provide maintenance assistance to asset team(s) g. As directed, assist capital project managers in the bidding and execution of minor capital projects h. Stays abreast of emerging products, services and trends related to the MFH industry 2. Acquisitions a. Complete home and lot inspections as directed and provide detailed feedback on any finding relevant to operations b. Support the efforts new home purchasing and installations at MFH locations c. After acquisition and as part of the onsite transition team, establish maintenance standards of performance, maintenance shop set up, preventive maintenance programs, purchasing programs, and other items as needed to bring the asset into compliance with established programs 3. Disposition a. Based on specific asset and fund level disposition strategies, executes maintenance recommendations to appropriately position the asset for sale 4. Travel a. Communities are in multiple states and may require frequent travel in order to execute job responsibilities
