The Property Asset Manager is responsible for ensuring that the organization appropriately maintains its physical assets including facilities and fleet of vehicles, to ensure the safety of our employees, clients and guests.
Qualifications:
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field and a working knowledge of facility and vehicle operations, maintenance and repair. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, time and project management, analytical and critical thinking skills are required. Finally, the position requires an individual with a high degree of integrity.

Principal Activities:
Responsible for building and maintaining an up-to-date database of the organization’s facilities, and their critical systems and components, using property asset/maintenance software Monitor facility needs and work orders to ensure that issues are being addressed timely and appropriately Provide leadership and manage the day-to-day operations of the Alabama Maintenance Supervisors Have regular meetings with Maintenance Supervisors to ensure the needs of the agency are identified and that proper planning for addressing the needs is developed Develop and implement systems within the maintenance department to maintain physical assets efficiently Work with maintenance personnel to prioritize issues and remove obstacles to effecting repairs Work in conjunction with management personnel to address any deficiencies or weaknesses in our maintenance process Ensure the maintenance department has adequate staff in numbers and abilities Coordinate special facility related projects as assigned Responsible for building and maintaining an up to date database of the organization’s vehicle fleet Identify and coordinate the repair of any vehicle related issues Create criteria for determining when vehicles should be disposed of and when new vehicles are needed Handle the disposal of vehicles Build relationships with vehicle vendors across our region(AL, GA, MS), and handle the purchase, transport, and tagging of newly purchased vehicles Provide management with reports that outline facility and vehicle maintenance or capital needs Work in conjunction with the CFO as annual budgets are prepared to determine upcoming costs as related to facilities and vehicles Responsible for the maintenance and use of the corporate administrative office including requests for facility use, scheduling, alarm systems and access
