WT Equipment in Berryville, AR is looking to hire a highly motivated individual for a full-time Service and Parts Manager. The Service and Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service and parts department at an agriculture dealership. This role ensures high-quality service, efficient workflow, and a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in agricultural machinery, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Service & Parts Manager Responsibilities

    Management:

    Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technicians and service staff. Ensure that all personnel adhere to company policies and safety standards.

      Workflow Coordination:

      Manage and prioritize service schedules, ensuring timely and efficient completion of repair and maintenance tasks.

      • Schedule and assign jobs to Parts Counter Personnel according to their knowledge and skill level.
      Quality Control:

      Conduct inspections to verify the quality of work performed, ensuring that all repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations.

        Customer Interaction:

        Communicate with customers to provide updates on service progress, explain technical issues, and offer recommendations for maintenance.

          Inventory Management:

          Oversee parts inventory, order supplies as needed and ensure that the shop is stocked with essential tools and equipment.

            Technical Assistance:

            Provide hands-on support and technical guidance to technicians, assisting with complex diagnostics and repairs as necessary.

              Training and Development:

              Organize and conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the service team.

                Record Keeping:

                Maintain accurate records of work orders, service reports, and customer interactions to ensure proper documentation and follow-up.

                  Safety Compliance:

                  Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the service department. Service & Parts Manager Qualifications

                    Education:

                    High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certifications in agricultural machinery or related fields are preferred.

                      Experience:

                      Minimum of 5 years of experience in a service or repair environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

                        Technical Skills:

                        Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing agricultural equipment, including tractors, combines, and other machinery.

                          Leadership Abilities:

                          Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

                            Customer Service:

                            Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.

                              Problem-Solving:

                              Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capable of handling complex technical issues and finding effective solutions.

                                Computer Literacy:

                                Proficient in using computer systems and software applications related to service management and inventory control. Service & Parts Manager Department Working Conditions

                                  Environment:

                                  Work is performed in a shop setting with exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery. Occasional outdoor work may be required.

                                    Physical Demands:

                                    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks involving mechanical equipment.

                                      Full-time position with hours of 8

                                      • Friday and Saturdays 8
                                      • 12 noon.
