This role directly supervises support staff and is instrumental in ensuring our community remains in excellent condition and that residents feel secure and cared for.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Oversee and direct daily operations for maintenance, housekeeping, and transportation teams Perform routine and emergency maintenance , ensuring rapid response and follow-up Maintain compliance with Life Safety , state, local, and federal regulations Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs Ensure the community and grounds are clean, safe, and ” tour ready ” at all times Supervise vendor relationships, bids, and purchasing Track and maintain inventory, supply orders , and budget oversight Conduct new hire orientations and ongoing staff training in safety and operations Serve as safety committee chair , monitor security, and maintain documentation for audits Manage vehicle maintenance and coordinate resident transportation needs Participate in disaster preparedness , inspections, in-services, and internal committees

Qualifications:

5+ years of management experience (building/facility operations or plant operations preferred) HVAC certification or ability to obtain Strong background in maintenance supervision , purchasing, and inventory control Knowledge of regulatory compliance , building systems, and facility safety Proven ability to manage a team and lead with accountability Must pass a criminal background check , TB testing , and meet state health requirements

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, climb, and reach throughout the workday Comfortable working in varied conditions, including potential exposure to infectious waste, chemicals, and challenging environments Must be able to respond to emergencies and be on-call when needed Be a Part of Something Bigger At The Manor, you’ll not only manage a team and facility – you’ll help create a warm, supportive environment for our residents to thrive.
