Supervisor, Truck Maintenance Shop Position Available In Pulaski, Arkansas

Job Description:

I. Job Summary Supervises and provides direct leadership fortechnicians. Manages work flow and assigns tasks.

II.Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual must be able to perform each essentialduty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. Overseesthe day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop.

Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, andmonitors progress and quality. Reviews driver repairs and othermaintenance requests, and prepares work order documents. Performsmechanical duties as needed. Monitors inventory of replacementparts and restocks as needed. Oversees personnel includingcoaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conductingdisciplinary action as needed. Provides input into termination,compensation, and promotion decisions. Interprets and ensuresconsistent application of organizational policies and safetyregulations. Creates and submits reports as necessary. III.Supervisory Responsibilities The highest level of supervisoryskills required in this job is the management of non-supervisoryemployees.

This includes:

Direct supervision of 3-5 full-timeemployees including: mechanics, technicians, clerks. IV.Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative ofthe qualifications necessary to perform the job. A.

Education andExperience Education:

High School Diploma or GED (accredited)

Experience:

Four (4) years of relevant work experience. B.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements Nonerequired. C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities RequiredMaintenance and repairs skills, and supervisory experience may berequired. V.
