Full-Time | On-site Lead With Excellence at Milford Mitsubishi! Milford Mitsubishi is looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Service Manager to oversee our dynamic service department. This leadership role is perfect for someone who is passionate about the automotive industry, committed to customer satisfaction, and ready to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of the service department’s operations Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to service technicians and advisors Ensure the department runs efficiently while delivering exceptional customer experiences Develop strategies to improve service processes, customer satisfaction, and retention Monitor and maintain quality control standards for repairs and services Collaborate with parts, sales, and finance departments to ensure seamless workflow Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions for staff Manage service department inventory, including ordering parts and supplies Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional, timely manner Stay current with industry trends, safety regulations, and new technologies

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in an automotive service environment Proven leadership experience, preferably in a management or supervisory role Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and maintenance Proficiency with auto estimating software and service scheduling systems Experience with Dealertrack DMS and Xtime preferred Familiarity with auto body repair processes is a plus Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to align team goals with overall business objectives

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High school diploma or equivalent required Valid Driver’s License required Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills Ability to lead a team, work independently, and make sound decisions Comfortable using up-sell techniques and meeting department performance goals Solid math skills, including understanding and applying percentages, discounts, and basic formulas
