Job Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance of residential and commercial properties, ensuring that facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This includes supervising a team of maintenance technicians, performing routine inspections, and coordinating repairs and upgrades. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians.
• Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
• Coordinate and manage maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and order parts as needed.
• Collaborate with property management to schedule and plan building improvements or upgrades.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, ensuring they follow best practices and company policies.
• Handle maintenance-related tenant inquiries and service requests in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in property maintenance, in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on a variety of systems and equipment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to perform physical labor as required.
• Background check and drug test required.

Preferred:

• Experience in property management or facilities management.
