Maintenance Supervisor Holiday Inn Express and Suites 220 Woodlawn Road, Macclenny, FL 32063 Looking for a Maintenance Supervisor who is ready to take ownership with overseeing the maintenance Dept at the Brand New Holiday Inn Express MacClenny. Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes: A minimum of 2 years of Hospitality/Hotel experience . Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing boilers, chillers, cooling towers, fan coil units, plumbing, pool & spa, etc. License(s) for the following areas – Pool (CPO), plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc. will be a Plus Not Amust. Ability to conduct hands on training and taking care of maintenance issue. “Service First” mindset and sets the example of guest service for the team. Demonstrate an attitude of cooperation and helpfulness at all times and have vested interest in the success of the hotel. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in team lifts as needed. Full flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as requested.
Job Duties:
Report emergencies and unusual situations immediately. Handle guest room maintenance requests in a timely fashion. Perform and/or supervise preventative maintenance for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC, guestrooms, meeting rooms, the swimming pool and hot tub. Perform plumbing repair, laundry equipment repair, preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans and supply; monitor energy conservation; repair vacuum cleaners and any other small equipment upon request. Immediately follow up on any alarms to determine the exact location and cause – determine emergency status and report to the Front Desk with findings. Point out and assist with eliminating safety concerns. Assist in maintenance of health code requirements for pool and spa. Oversee and complete projects as assigned by the
