Competitive salary Paid time off Benefits/Perks Competitive Pay Holiday/PTO/Vacation Job Summary We’re looking for a hardworking maintenance supervisor to join our team at our small Christian Science Nursing Facility. Candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of buildings and mechanical systems. Including various tasks, such as, regularly inspecting our building for any damages, conducting routine property checks, and assisting with minor repairs. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends. The ideal person for this job will possess the following qualities associated with Daystar’s mission: faith, honesty, compassion, humanity, meekness, patience and cheerfulness. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units and plumbing fixtures, to make sure they’re operating efficiently Inspect the buildings for any damage, required maintenance, or cleaning Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced Knowledge of budgeting costs, maintaining inventory, maintenance logs, and negotiating contracts Emergency and Fire Safety Procedures, including performing fire drills, safety meetings and keeping record logs Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks Handle additional weekly and monthly maintenance tasks as needed Research and communicate with outside vendors and request estimates as needed Qualifications High school diploma/GED or equivalent Prefer at least (5) years of maintenance experience Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems General understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
