A Property Administrator is needed for a large waterfront home in Fort Lauderdale. This is a new entry-level position for the property.
Job Description:
Organize, schedule and calendar work routines for maintenance staff. Keep the Estate Manual up-to-date. Track projects; manage work flow to complete on time and within budget. Update utilities usage reports. Track vendors’ visits. File warranties for appliances and equipment. Analyze property needs, budgets and propose changes to Principals. Coordinate with PA/House Mgr and housekeepers, maintenance staff, and others. Report directly to the Principals.
Requirements:
Eligible to work in the U.S. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Local candidates, or those who have previously worked in the area. Knowledge of property maintenance practices. Strong organizational skills.
Advanced level of knowledge:
Microsoft Office on Mac; Excel, Word, Outlook, calendars, charting, reports, etc. Able to work 10 hours per day, Mon – Fri. (50 hrs / week). Some supervisory experience in managing tasks and manpower. Live within a commutable distance to 33301. Physically fit to use stairs, sit for long periods, lift and carry min. 30lbs. Active and able to work at a fast pace, flexibility in constantly prioritizing responsibilities, able to work indoors and some outside to check staff and contractors. This position is best suited for someone who has worked on a large private property, familiar with maintenance specifications, and able to commit the time. It may also be a fit for someone from a resort or condo administration position. There is room to grow into an Estate Management position.
