Your impact Jacobs Project Management Company is seeking a PMCS Internal Controls Professional to work in Jacksonville, FL and various unanticipated worksites in the US.
Responsibilities:
Administer and customize Project Management & Controls Systems (PMCS) to meet client needs, ensuring streamlined management of finances, schedules, and project information. Develop and implement processes for transitioning and setting up PMIS, adding value during each phase. Reconcile PMCS data with client financial records and prepare comprehensive reports. Conduct master planning for K-12 school districts to optimize facility utilization based on current and projected enrolment trends. Align school boundaries and feeder patterns to ensure consistent student cohorts through elementary, middle, and high school.
Operational and Financial Analysis:
Evaluate and consider factors such as operational costs, deferred maintenance, life cycle costs, and academic programs in the master planning process. Budgeting and Financial Forecasting. Develop and manage budgets for master plan execution, analyzing cash flow models to align costs with district revenue from various funding sources. Provide detailed financial analysis to support the planning and implementation phases. Work closely with large K-12 school district clients to understand their unique needs and challenges, providing expert consultation to support effective project management and planning. REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field and 4 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in construction, design and management. In Lieu of the requirements listed above, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field and 6 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in construction, design and management.
SPECIFIC SKILLS
Expertise/ knowledge of: AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, SharePoint, OnePlan, Navisworks, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Cloud, Bluebeam, Procore.
Master Planning and Strategic Planning:
Expertise in developing comprehensive, long-term plans that align organizational goals with projected growth and resource needs. Skilled in analyzing current and future trends, ensuring sustainable development. This includes assessing operational efficiencies, aligning various departments or facilities to strategic objectives, and creating adaptable plans that accommodate evolving requirements and opportunities
Process Development and Risk Management:
Skilled in creating and enhancing scalable and sustainable processes for Project Management and Controls Systems, ensuring cost and schedule adherence. Proficient in using analytical tools for risk assessment and developing appropriate mitigation measures to support project success.
Design Review and Value Engineering:
Proficient in interpreting and developing construction drawings to conduct thorough design reviews, implement value engineering, and develop phasing plans, project schedules, quantity take-offs, and accurate cost estimates.
Financial Analysis and Construction Budgeting:
Expertise in developing budgets, financial forecasting, and cash flow model analysis for construction projects and infrastructure programs.
Client Consultation and Relationship Management:
Strong aptitude for collaborating with clients, providing strategic consultation, and managing relationships to deliver effective project management and planning solutions.
