Full Job Description Overview:

Full Time Position Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Supervises all maintenance on plant, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, med gas systems, and tube stations. Plans, organizes, directs and follows up mechanical maintenance personnel assigned. Procures parts, material, and contracted service in support of the assigned areas of responsibility. Administers a budget and prepares written reports as directed.

Required Education:

High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Education:

3-5 years supervision

Supervision:

Supervisory responsibility of 10 employees.

Required Licensure/Certifications:

N/A Preferred Experience:

Supervisory experience preferably in a hospital environment. Strong background in mechanical maintenance.

Necessary Skills:

1. Ability to manage personnel in an effective and efficient manner. 2. Thorough knowledge of common practice in various mechanical trades. 3. Familiar with boiler chemistry, A/C systems and emergency power systems. 4. Ability to prioritize assignments and follow up on multiple tasks. 5. Ability to read and technical literature and schematics.
