General Responsibilities:
Responsible for the maintenance of the facility on a day-to day basis if and as needed, while keeping the facility in compliance with the State codes. Some local travel is required for this position.
Duties:
Troubleshooting and minor repairs in the areas of plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, and carpentry Oversee major projects/repairs that require outside vendors/contractors Routine maintenance Perform inspections of facility and equipment and submit reports as scheduled Follow all applicable policies of Wayne Halfway House Inc. Demonstrate competence in cultural knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity.
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid drivers license required. Two years of experience in general maintenance including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry strongly preferred. Level 2 background screen is required and maintaining eligibility is required for continued employment.
NO FELONY CONVICTIONS.
Must pass a drug screen and background check and maintain eligibility for continued employment.
