maintenance supervisor Dexter Group – USA Plant City, FL To be successful in this role, you will need: At least 5 years of experience in the maintenance field in a manufacturing environment. Experience in CMMS systems such as eMaint CMMS What you will be doing: In this role you will direct and manage maintenance, instrument, electrical, miscellaneous service departments in a safe, economical, and efficient manner consistent with company policy. You will also supervise and coordinate the activities of others engaged in the maintenance and repair of the company’s equipment, buildings, and grounds. This role supports the manufacturing processes by ensuring PM’s and equipment downtime can be analyzed and planned with corrective actions taken. In addition, this role: Oversees, coordinates, and supervises the maintenance departments planning and PM program for the plant; conducts specialized maintenance activities; performs related work as required including maintenance check sheets, maintenance logic decision trees, predictive maintenance techniques, and related engineering analyses. Repairs and maintains the grounds, structures, and equipment of organization. Keeps operating equipment in the condition to deliver design duty Ensures plant and equipment run properly when it is required for operation and maintains assets most profitably for the life of the machine. Areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to, activities related to the maintenance, repair and modification of equipment controls/communications, electrical/electronic systems, or mechanical devices and equipment. Follows OSHA regulations, interprets company policies to workers, and ensures safe work practices. Plan, assign, and supervise the work of subordinate staff including custodial staff; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Continuous improvement process. Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies. Inspects completed work to ensure conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards. Studies production schedules and estimates work time requirements for completion of job assignment. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules; suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew. Performs other tasks or duties as assigned.
